The two are not mutually exclusive — in fact, it can be quite the opposite.

Not exactly cheery, I know; but I’ve been wanting to go there for a while, now. Juggling these two traits has made up a considerable chunk of my adult life so far. I’m certainly not the only person who can say this. And we just don’t talk about the cycle of misery religion can get you into.
