OH MY DOG.

I spent the first half of my life trying to find solace in this notion, but it only ever felt OFF to me somehow. Like, people get picked on for reasons beyond Jesus every day. Are white evangelical men going to start claiming that rape is proof of Jesus being the victim's side, then in the same breath claim that the rapist being arrested and put on trial is proof of Jesus being on his side? MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

I hate this passage and always have. Sue me.
