I see the same thing happening with churches, but one I also see serious followers of Christ doing is breaking off and finding their own flow. They form their own communities to do what they do together, in the days of the early church, and those pieces of the body seem much happier and more fulfilled. I've been thinking for a long time that students and teachers alike should do something similar, instead of waiting for someone else to do something about it. The most expensive private college in my city (which stole my money and my 20's) up and shut down the other yesr because students caught onto the bullshit and just quit enrolling. What would happen if one semester, NO ONE enrolled, and NO teachers showed up? Kill that gravy train, ma.
