Do For Others. No One Else Will.

The system sure as hell won’t get around to it, so you’d may as well do it yourself.

Y’all, take a quick cruise through this Twitter thread and see if you can spot all the things wrong with the situation:

Depending on how extreme to the right or left you are, your answers to my challenge may vary greatly. They may include drastically different buzzwords, and cast aspersions on different groups of people. And you’re probably certain that your opinion is the one that will make America a better place to live, and anyone with another answer just wants us all to die slowly and pitifully.

Just an assumption of mine, given what we call “news” lately.

But none of you probably even noticed the point I’m trying to make today.

It’s funny how two opposing truths can still be true at the same time. How two very different people can both be right when each thinks the other is wrong. How a topic or situation can be complicated, tricky to make sense of, to the point that not everyone will be satisfied with the outcome; but that doesn’t make the outcome less beneficial, in the end.
